Research has shown that this approach may offer an additional treatment option for certain individuals experiencing treatment-resistant depression.

Because every patient journey is different, treatment suitability is determined through a detailed psychiatric assessment and review of previous treatment history.

A psychiatrist may consider esketamine treatment for adults experiencing depression that has not responded adequately to previous treatment approaches, particularly when multiple evidence-based interventions have been attempted without sufficient improvement.

Eligibility is determined individually following a comprehensive clinical assessment.
