I am Dr. Basil Ibrahim, a licensed General Practitioner currently working in the Psychiatry Department. My focus is on the management of substance misuse and mental health illnesses as well as general practice, including the diagnosis and management of common medical conditions. I emphasize evidence-based treatments and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

In 2024, I earned my General Practitioner license from the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) after passing the MOH and DOH examinations. From 2020 to 2023, I served as a Psychiatry Resident under the Arab Board of Health Specializations,  gaining hands-on experience in managing psychiatric conditions and substance misuse cases. Since 2017, I have practiced general medicine, focusing on patient education and holistic careI hold a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from the National University (2015) and have completed professional training and online psychiatry courses to enhance my skills.
