Dr. Muzamel Bukhari is a licensed General Practitioner with a dedicated clinical focus on mental health, addiction medicine, and the assessment and management of substance use disorders. Working as a GP within the Psychiatry Department at Ardens Medical Centre, he provides compassionate, evidence-based care, supporting patients through every stage of their treatment and recovery.

Dr. Bukhari adopts a holistic, patient-centred approach, recognising that effective healthcare extends beyond the treatment of symptoms. He is committed to understanding the biological, psychological, and social factors that influence each individual’s wellbeing, enabling him to develop personalised treatment plans that address both physical and mental health needs. He works closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and nursing staff to deliver integrated, multidisciplinary care that promotes sustainable recovery and long-term wellbeing.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from National Ribat University, Khartoum, Sudan, in 2016. Since qualifying, he has gained broad clinical experience across emergency medicine, inpatient and outpatient services, high-dependency units, and psychiatric settings, developing expertise in the management of both acute and chronic medical conditions.

With several years of experience in psychiatry and addiction services, Dr. Bukhari has developed particular interests in the assessment and treatment of common mental health disorders, substance use disorders, and the physical health needs of patients with complex psychiatric presentations. His calm, empathetic, and culturally sensitive approach enables him to build strong therapeutic relationships and support patients in achieving meaningful and lasting recovery.

Since relocating to the United Arab Emirates, Dr. Bukhari has been practicing in Sharjah and is fully licensed by both the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP). He remains committed to continuous professional development and delivering the highest standards of clinical care, ensuring that every patient receives safe, respectful, and person-centred treatment.
