Chief Medical Officer & Managing Director, Ardens Medical Center

I am a licensed Consultant Psychiatrist with dual registration in the United Kingdom and with the Dubai Health Authority, currently serving as Chief Medical Officer and Managing Director at Ardens Medical Center. I bring 15 years of experience as a consultant psychiatrist in general adult and substance misuse psychiatry, with a particular focus on the treatment of mental health and addiction disorders. I am also trained in motivational interviewing and have worked extensively in both clinical and leadership capacities.

Throughout my career, I have held senior medical management positions in both the UK and the UAE. Notably, I contributed to national policy development with NHS England and have had the privilege of presenting my insights at the British Parliament on multiple occasions. Prior to my current role, I served as Executive Medical Director in the UK, overseeing addiction services across 12 sites in England.

In addition to my clinical and leadership responsibilities, I hold an adjunct professorship at Liverpool John Moores University and remain actively involved in academic research. I have published multiple peer-reviewed papers, including recent studies on student attitudes toward vaping in the UAE during the COVID-19 pandemic and retrospective outcomes of long-acting buprenorphine depot treatment in the UK.
