Clinical Psychologist

I am a Licensed Psychologist with an approach rooted in helping you feel more grounded, self-aware and mentally resilient. My curious, compassionate and non-judgemental style to therapy creates a space for clients to explore their experiences, regulate their emotions and build a more fulfilling life.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with Honours from the University of Warwick and a Master of Science in Mental Health Studies with Distinction at King’s College London which have laid a strong academic foundation for my career that has since spanned both public and private sectors. My integrative and research-informed approach draws on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) to support individuals across a wide range of concerns. Emotional regulation, identity development, and the processing of life challenges remain central to my work, with a focus on cultural context and emotional safety.

My clinical experience spans work across the National Health Services in the UK, private clinics and multi-national organisations in the UAE and as Head of Clinical Services at Mintea Wellbeing. My contributions to supporting wellbeing have also included raising awareness and providing tools of emotional support at the UAE University and the UAE Space Agency. As a member of the British Psychological Society and the Middle East Psychological Association, I remain committed to delivering evidence-based, compassionate care.

Beyond the therapy room, I actively advocate for mental health awareness with a specific focus on culture and marginalised communities. I’ve contributed to academic and public platforms, presenting at leading forums such as the British and Irish Group for the Study of Personality Disorders and the Middle East Psychological Association Conference. In 2025, I was honoured with the Filmfare Award for The Most Influential Woman for my work in mental health advocacy and digital dissemination.

These experiences have shaped my approach at Ardens Medical Centre where I focus on creating a compassionate space. Whether you’re seeking clarity, stability, or simply someone to talk to with depth and discretion—I’m here to help.
